Meet your hosts:

Pam O’Deen has lived in Wilmington NC since 2001with her husband Terry where they have raised their two kids Dennis and Elliott as well as several fur babies. Pam is also an artist primarily in oil, acrylic and mixed media on canvas has been involved in several art shows in the Wilmington area. She has been a fitness instructor for almost 20 years. Pam is currently teaching Pilates classes in Wilmington and Leland NC. She has been certified in Kickboxing, Group Fitness, Indoor Cycling and Mat Pilates.

For the last 10 years Pam has focused on Pilates because of it’s ability to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, improve balance and posture with reduced risk of injury. In fact, Pilates can help to heal many of the injuries that are caused by sports and other activities.

Pam’s classes always start with a warm up which includes breath work and grounding then the exercises that follow are controlled and intentional with focus on the engagement of the core muscles or “The Power House”. Each workout is head to toe with an emphasis on the connection to the core, spinal alignment and breath. All classes are concluded with a fascia rolling sequence and a brief meditation then grounding with breath work that brings you back to where you started and completes the circle. You are left feeling strong, balanced, relaxed and peaceful.
