Full body treatments:

Manual Lymph Drainage Massage - During a lymphatic drainage massage light, rhythmic movements are used to manually push lymph fluid through the tissues and nodes without damaging the vessels. This is a light to medium pressure massage that may use joint mobilization, light stretching, and gentle soft tissue manipulation to aid in moving fluid toward the body's lymph drains where it is transferred to the circulatory system, bringing waste products and toxins with it to be removed from the body.  Many people find this massage to be both relaxing and invigorating, and that it noticeably increases circulation of blood and energy throughout the body.

Therapeutic Massage - A therapeutic massage is customized by the practioner to meet your individual needs and address any areas of concern.  Using a variety of modalities, ranging from firm, slow strokes and targeted deep pressure, to Swedish, to more subtle energy techniques, the focus is on releasing chronic tension, increasing mobility, releasing fascia, and stimulating the autonomic nervous system to reach a state of pure relaxation and healing.  As with any massage, it is important that you disclose any injuries, medications, or chronic disease to your therapist to avoid negative results.

Prenatal/Pregnancy Massage - This treatment is focused on relieving the common complaints of currently pregnant people, as well as preparing the body for pregnancy, and recovering from childbirth.  Depending on where you are in your journey, the application of techniques will change.  Pregnancy massage can include traditional Swedish and deep tissue massage techniques, along with specific body positioning, bolstering, and movement that aids in alleviating the physical and emotional stress that pregnancy can put on the body. If you are currently pregnant, it is very important that your doctor clears you to receive massage and bodywork before your appointment. Prenatal/pregnancy massages are offered in both 60 and 90 minute sessions, however it is recommended that 90 minute pregnancy massages be booked for clients who are currently pregnant to allow ample time for positioning, and potential bathroom breaks.

Thai Massage - Thai Massage is a beautiful combination of rythmic acupressure and opening yoga stretches, blending into a blissful and healing experience. Thai massages take place upon a floor mat which allows the client a more complete range of motion. The Thai practitioner may use hands and feet during the massage. Oftentimes, they will use a combination to gain leverage as they initiate deep stretches of the client's arms, legs, hips, and shoulders. Since no oil is required in a Thai massage, the client may remain fully clothed.  Comfortable, relaxed, fitting clothes are recommended so the clothes don't become constricting during the session. The more you relax into a Thai massage, the more you'll feel at ease and free in the days following a session.

Gua Sha with IASTM Myofascial Release Massage - Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese healing practice which uses a smooth-edged tool while to scrape the skin while applying pressure in order to manipulate and break up adhesions and scar tissue, release tension, stretch the fascia and enhance circulation. It is often used in conjunction with cupping, IASTM, and other myofascial techniques.

Add-ons for Full Body Treatments:

Cupping - During your full body treatment, Therapeutic cups are applied to targeted areas to manipulate fascia, relieve tension, enhance blood circulation and muscle recovery, reduce pain, and help your body fight inflammation. Cupping is not recommended for anyone with bleeding disorders, or taking blood thinners. Advise your therapist of any medications you are currently taking, including supplements.

Aromatherapy - During your full body treatment, natural and organic single-plant essential oils and organic hydrosols (herbal distillates) are utilized to enhance relaxation, support recovery, ease tension, and reinvigorate your body's immune system.  Oils will be custom selected and mixed during the appointment, and applied appropriately.  Please be sure to disclose any allergies and sensitivities to your therapist before your appointment.

Chair Massage - Don't have time for a full body massage, or just need a little work between regular treatments? Curious about massage but don't want to commit to a full-body treatment yet?  Chair massage may be just the thing you need!  This is a 30 minute massage in which the client remains fully clothed, and a specialized massage chair is used instead of the usual table.  The areas of focus for a chair massage are the back, shoulders, arms, neck and head.  Very little, if any, oil is used with light to firm pressure being applied. This is a great way to ease the tension of the day without the time or monetary commitment of a full body massage.   And for those of you who are new to massage, it is a great way to see what it's all about!   Ask about professional chair massage services for your next event!
