Love Your Peri Body Retreat

Join us for a relaxing and revitalizing weekend retreat for women age 30+ in Carolina Beach, NC!  Saturday January 3 brings the full Wolf Moon, the last in a series of four "super moons". The first full moon of the year, named for the sound of howling wolves heard more clearly in the stillness of the deep winter, is often associated with renewal, reflexion, and introspection and offers an opportunity to set intentions for the year ahead. Offering two nights' accommodation at a newly renovated, eco-friendly, ocean side hotel and numerous wellness-oriented activities and workshops, we will focus on strengthening, relaxing, and honoring the peri/menopausal body.  Activities to include holistic massage and bodywork sessions, intention-setting workshops to usher in the new year, yoga and somatic movement classes tailored to the peri/menopausal body, herbal support workshops, community building, and information sharing, all while spending a weekend ocean-side in beautiful and soul-soothing Carolina Beach, NC!

Single occupancy: $650   

Double occupancy: $800 (maximum two people)

Included in fee:

• Newly renovated ocean side hotel room for two nights - Arrive Friday afternoon, check out Sunday
  • Room amenities: complimentary reusable water bottle, coffee in the room, refrigerator
  • Complimentary lattes, cappuccinos, coffee, and filtered water available in the lobby all day
• Welcome bag with snacks and light refreshments provided in each room
• All yoga and movement classes/workshops
  • Yoga with Kelsie - multiple classes available, attend as many as you like! 
  • Somatic release workshops with Samara - introduction to basic somatic techniques to reestablish and reinforce the mind/body connection and release stress and tension
• Herbal support workshop with Samara - learn the difference between infusions, tinctures, and decoctions; explore specific herbs and make your own tea. Leave with some herbs and recipes!
• Complimentary 30 minute massage sessions for each guest provided by Embody Holistic Healing - longer sessions may be available for additional cost and prior booking 
• Access to newly renovated and heated pool
• Access to beach cruiser bicycles
• Free parking

Not included:

• Meals - the hotel is in close proximity to several restaurants and a small local store that sells produce, ready-made meals, and dry goods. There are also two full-size grocery stores on the island, and numerous restaurants within walking distance, and even more just a short drive or bike ride away. We will offer refreshments at all workshops. Each room has a refrigerator.
• Transportation - you are responsible for getting yourself to and from the hotel and around the island. The hotel offers free access to beach cruiser bicycles, and there are other forms of transportation for rent at local shops (e-bikes, scooters, golf carts for use on the island). Yoga and movement classes may be offered off-site depending on class size and weather, but all included events will be held within short walking distance to the hotel. 

Retreat is limited to 10 participants aged 30+

Include your full and preferred name(s), age, request for single or double occupancy, and preferred method of payment (we accept most cards, cashier's checks, Venmo, Zelle, and cash if you're local). 

• If you are requesting double occupancy, please include information and an email address for the second guest as well.

You will receive a reply within 24 hours with a link to register and intake forms. Registration is not complete until forms and payment are received. Once registration is complete, you will receive reservation confirmation, and a receipt. Itinerary and accommodation information will be sent out once registration is closed. Payments are non-refundable, but may be transferable with prior authorization. Payment plan may be available upon request.
